Vergangene Versionen erreichen nach definierter Lifetime einen End-of-Life Status und bergen anschliessend ein Sicherheitsrisiko. Diese Änderung im Design stellt Unternehmen vor die Herausforderung, viel strenger grössere Updates vom Betriebssystem auszurollen. Dies muss oft zwangsweise neben dem Tagesgeschäft ausgeführt werden und benötigt womöglich eine Anpassung an Prozessen.
